The beautiful landscape represents an excellent opportunity for hiking, the routes being well marked and safe.

Possible destinations can be St. Anne’s Lake (3,5 hours), Sólyomkõ (Eagles Rock) (40 minutes), Ludmilla Kilátó (40 minutes) or one of the many mineral springs that can be found all over the place.

The sports fans can choose tennis, soccer, ski or skating. The sports hall of the city is available, too.

A special way of enjoying the beauties of the landscape is by horse-driven carriages.

Many famous tourist attractions are only at one hour drive from Baile Tusnad: Miercurea Ciuc and the Franciscane Cathedral in Csiksomlyó (30 km), Târgu Secuiesc (30 km), Braºov (70 km), Cetatea Balvanyos (20 km), Lacul Roºu ºi Cheile Bicazului (100 km), Bran Castle (120 km), Hãºmaºu Mare Rocks (70 km).
